UX RESEARCH AND IDEATION

During a 4-month intensive, the brief of ‘Creative Care’ in a multimodal context of physical, digital and spatial environments tasked us to consider the needs of a user group and cater to their requirements with a holistic, iterative prototype. An investigation into the safety of crowd management at festivals and concerts resulted in the iteration of existing LED-wristband technology prevalent in the care context space to create a wayfinding device titled Mobie, which would have direct communication with security and emergency services, addressing the established concerns of its users and adapting to pre-existing large-scale event management tools.
